Shawn Jay Soon, MD, FRCSC is the Medical Director and founder of the Belmont Clinic.
He is a specialist in Urology, the surgical and medical treatment of the urinary and male reproductive system. Dr. Soon graduated from the University of Toronto, St-George Campus, with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from McMaster University. He completed a residency in Urology at the University of Ottawa, followed by a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic urologic surgery from Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris, France.
He speaks English, Mandarin and French. Dr. Soon joined the Department of Surgery at the Scarborough Health Network in 2007. In addition, Dr. Soon continues to develop partnerships with other physicians in order to provide the best multidisciplinary care for patients.

Dr. Tam is a physician passionate about providing holistic care to her clients.
She received her medical training from McGill University, and completed her training in Family Medicine at McMaster University.
She further completed a fellowship through Queen’s University to specialize in Obstetrics and Women’s Health to better provide a continuity of care to her female patients.
During her practice, she identified an opportunity to enhance her knowledge in men’s health and she is excited to contribute to this field at The Belmont Clinic.
A year ago, she ventured into aesthetics and completed her advanced injectable training course. Her plan for the future is to continue attending seminars, courses and conferences to develop different techniques to address the unique needs of each and every one of her clients. Her goal through this extensive training is to help you gain the confidence you need to feel your best - inside and out.
